Dagannoth Kings Guide

Many people think that dks will be really easy with a clan, it's not. I've made this guide so that a CLAN can do this event with ease.

In this guide ill be going through what to take to kill each monster and what you should be doing.

Where To Stand In The Dagannoth Kings Lair

Mages stand in the red zone
Melee in green zone
Rangers should be stood in the yellow Zone

Maging Rex

The role of the mage is for the lurer to get the rex to the mage dd without it touching either the rangers or melee this can be hard at the best of times. when luring you should generally use mage protection unless prime has just died.

Killing the rex is easy there is really only person that risks dying, that is the lurer In clan dks people underestimate the damage that the dks can do and just step off the dd to kill it. people still die at every event because they are not paying attention

This is the general gear a mage will use

Alternativley you can use veracs for prayer bonus and bring a few extra brews. (If you cant afford these items dont worry you can use other barows armours/rune but you wont last as long)

Meleeing supreme

The role of the melee is to kill supreme (Range boss) he has a max hit of around 30 so make sure you are praying Range while attacking him. killing supreme is simple as he has fairly low defence against melee attacks and can usually be specced out by weapons such as d hally.

When killing supreme you should always wait for the rangers to kill Prime (Mage boss) because you may take aggro and Prime can hit 50's leading to people dying fairly easily if they are not paying attention.

Again if you dont have the money for this certain gear then do not worry you can downgrade to other armour (barrows still being the best) and also whips/dds for weapons.

Ranging Prime

Prime is the most dangerous of the Dagannoth kings and can hit upto 50+ with his mage attack the job of the rangers is to keep Prime away from everyone else. Prime can die fairly fast aslong as people are using diamond bolts/broad bolts/crystal bows.

Killing prime is fairly easy but you have to pay the most attention on this boss because if you are too late turning your prayer on then you will get hit.

The familiar can be exchanged for unicorn/beast of burden depending on your summoning level
